Momondo is my favorite serch engineres. It searches all the airlines, including budget carriers to find the best deal.


Kayak allows you to search destinations with as much flexibility as you want. The best flight search engine for fares leaving from the United States. (Not the best for the budget carriers)


Skyscanner is a great website including a lot of budget carriers. If you don’t know where you want to go you can type “everywhere” in the box “to” and you will find the cheapest destination on that date.







Hotels.com has great hotel deals all over the world. They have over 20 000 last minute deals every week. If you sign up for the news letter you will resive 50 % deals only for subscribers.


Agoda is a really good for accommodation in Asia. But they are a fastest-growing platforms worldwide.


Hotwire is a highly recommended site. Is a blind booking process. You won’t know which hotel you’re staying at until it’s booked, but you can request the general location and quality. Maybe it souds scarry – but I never had a bad experience.


Booking.com is a good website with great hotels and accommodation.




Hostelworld is a good site for booking hostels, hotels and bed and breakfast world wide.


Hostelbookers is a good site to book hostels. It is the only indented hostel site that has no booking fees and over 3000 destinations.


Hostels.com is the ultimate online resource for hostels everywhere.




Airbnb connects you with homeowners who rents their homes/apartments/rooms  to you. You pay a fraction of the cost of a hotel room for an apartment. You can stay like a local ina non-touristy part of where you are going.


Home Away is the worlds leading online marketplace for vacation rentals in over 170 countries.


Roomorama is the discerning traveler’s one-stop shop for short-term rentals. They have special offers and no booking fee. With an ever-growing inventory of hospitable accommodations, Roomorama is working to make you feel at home wherever you are.


Free accommodation


Couchsurfing allows you to stay on people’s couches or spare rooms for free. It’s a great way to save money while meeting locals who can tell you much more about a city than you will find out in a hostel/hotel.


Housesitting is method of watching people’s houses while they are away in exchange for free accommodation.
